Custom Mold & Design has a dedicated mold maintenance department that has the entire complement of our state-of-the-art equipment at its disposal. This includes 3, 4 and 5-axis hard milling, wire and sinker EDM, Swiss turning, 12-axis mill turning as well as our automated work centers and support equipment. Further, our best-in-class metrology lab is ready and available to support all mold maintenance activities to ensure the highest quality craftsmanship.

The purpose of having a dedicated mold maintenance department is to support the productivity and efficiency over the life of each tool that we build, or that a customer provides to us for maintenance services. Our ability to provide systemized mold maintenance support delivers another level of service for our customers. At Custom Mold & Design, we strive to provide creative solutions to our customer’s tooling problems. Whether you are looking for routine preventative maintenance, replacement of worn components and/or areas of a mold or a complete refurbishment; let our one-stop services help you with your mold maintenance needs. If you have complete and accurate CAD models, or if we need to measure the steel and formulate a unique repair plan to suit your specific needs, at Custom Mold & Design you can rest assured that your mold will receive the best possible care.

We also offer tooling trials and first article services if you would like your mold sampled and evaluated prior to shipment.
